Position Overview:

Facility is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with expertise in mammography and breast biopsy procedures to cover a vacancy due to the resignation of a previous radiologist. The position involves reading studies of all modalities in addition to performing diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule:

  • Preferred: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 AM - 4 PM each week

  • Will consider three consecutive days in a row if needed.

• Call Requirements: None

• Duties: Reading all modality studies and performing diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies.

• Required Procedures: Breast Biopsies

• EMR/Charting: Cerner

• Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, and other support staff.

• Reason for Coverage: Resignation of a Radiologist.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (REQUIRED)

• Active California License (REQUIRED)

• Residency Training in Diagnostic Radiology (Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies REQUIRED)

• BLS/ACLS and DEA Certification (REQUIRED during credentialing)

• Clean Malpractice Record (Highly Preferred)
