Gastroenterologist
Assignment Details
• Location: Bellingham, Washington
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Through February 21, 2027
• Practice Setting: Hospital and Outpatient Clinic
• Coverage Reason: Gap coverage
Compensation: Hourly Rate – $480/hr, Overtime – $600/hr, Holiday – $725/hr,
24-Hour Call – $4635 per 24 hours, Night Call – $935/shift, Call Back – $600/hr.
Schedule
• Approximately 14 hospital shifts per month
• Day shift
• No routine weekend coverage except when on call
• 24-hour call with morning clinic assistance
Clinical Details
• Hospital and outpatient privileges required
• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• 253-bed hospital
• Morning rounding, admissions, and GI procedures
• Approximately 4 patients each morning while on call
• Collaborative GI practice with other Gastroenterologists
• EMR: Epic
Requirements
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• MD or DO
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Epic experience required
• Washington license preferred; candidates willing to obtain a Washington license before the start date will be considered
• Must meet all additional Medical Staff Office credentialing requirements
Credentialing
• Hospital and clinic privileges required
• Orientation required prior to first clinical shift
Additional Information
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Four hours of gratis are included with each 24-hour call.
