OB/GYN Hospitalist
Assignment Details
• Location: La Plata, Maryland
• Start Date: October 8, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Part-time coverage
Compensation: 24 Hour Call – $2490 per 24 hours, Orientation – $160/hr.
Schedule
• 24-hour in-house shifts (8:00 AM–8:00 AM)
• Daily huddle at 7:45 AM
• Approximately 3 shifts per month
• Call room provided
Clinical Details
• Solo OB Hospitalist coverage
• Average of 1–2 deliveries per 24-hour shift
• Adult patient population
• Responsibilities include:
• Labor and delivery coverage
• Bread-and-butter gynecology
• Gynecologic surgeries
• OB patient rounding
• Dedicated Labor & Delivery operating room with four additional OR suites onsite
• EMR: Epic
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG)
• Active Maryland medical license or active IMLC
• BLS certification
• DEA required
• Maryland CSR required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Epic experience (please include in presentation)
Credentialing
• Approximately 60 days
• Full and emergency privileges available
Additional Information
• Candidates work independently as the sole onsite OB Hospitalist.
