Gynecology Surgery APP Locum Opportunity – New Jersey
A healthcare system in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner with RNFA or Physician Assistant) to provide first assist support for robotic gynecologic surgeries. This is a full-time locum opportunity supporting inpatient surgical services across multiple locations.

Monday – Friday
Day shifts
No call responsibilities
Practice Setting
Inpatient Operating Room
Adult patient population
Cerner/Oracle EMR
Trauma Level III facility
Clinical Responsibilities
First assist for robotic gynecologic surgical procedures
Intraoperative surgical support
Collaboration with attending gynecologic surgeons
Perioperative patient management as appropriate
Surgical Volume
Approximately 2–6 surgeries per day
Required Experience & Skills
Required
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
First Assist Certification with robotic surgery experience
Active New Jersey License (must be in hand at time of presentation)
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
ATLS or ATCN Certification
Prior robotic gynecologic surgery experience
Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation
Preferred
Experience with Cerner EMR
Supervision
APP will work alongside and assist the operating surgeon
Independent practice is not expected for surgical cases
Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 2–3 months
Travel
Mileage reimbursement available in accordance with facility guidelines.
