Gynecology Surgery First Assist APP Locum Opportunity – New Jersey
A healthcare system in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA) to provide first assist support for robotic gynecologic surgeries. This is a six-month locum assignment supporting inpatient surgical services.

Cerner/Oracle EMR
Trauma Level III facility
Clinical Responsibilities
First assist in robotic gynecologic surgical procedures
Intraoperative support for gynecologic surgeons
Surgical patient management within the operating room setting
Collaboration with supervising surgeons during procedures
Surgical Volume
Approximately 2–6 surgeries per day
Requirements
Required
Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA
First Assist Certification with robotic surgery experience
Active New Jersey License (must be active at time of submission)
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
ATLS or ATCN Certification
Experience performing robotic gynecologic surgery first assist duties
Current NPDB Self-Query Report dated within 30 days of presentation
Preferred
Experience with Cerner EMR
Supervision
APP will work directly with the operating surgeon
Independent surgical practice is not expected
