Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity – Iowa
A healthcare organization is seeking two Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for ongoing locum coverage. The ideal candidate is available full-time, though providers with at least two weeks of availability per month will also be considered.
Compensation: Hourly $435/hr, Overtime $540/hr, Night Call $665, 24 Hour On Call $2,960.

Team includes anesthesiologists and CRNAs

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
Provide anesthesia services for:
General surgery cases
Obstetrics, including TOLAC cases
Pediatric ENT procedures (primarily tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies)
Conscious sedation procedures
Some supervision responsibilities
Case Mix
General anesthesia
Obstetrics
Healthy pediatric patients
Conscious sedation
Excluded Procedures
No cardiac surgery
No neurosurgery
Facility Details
13 operating rooms
Department volume of approximately 30–50 cases per day
Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active Iowa license or active IMLC with Letter of Qualification
ACLS certification (may be obtained during credentialing)
Ability to participate in call coverage
Availability for at least two weeks per month
Must be available during the weeks of November 23 and December 21
COVID vaccination required
Clean malpractice and background history required
