Interventional Radiologist

Overview:
A hospital-based opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiologist to provide general IR coverage. This role includes daytime procedural coverage with evening and weekend call. Stroke thrombectomy experience is preferred but not required.
Orientation $250/hr
Daily $5000 for all hours worked
On-call – $4000 (4 hour gratis)
Call-back – $500/hr after gratis
Assignment Dates:
June 26, 2026 – July 1, 2026
Schedule
Day coverage: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Evening call: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
Practice Details
Setting: Hospital-based
EMR: Epic
Diagnostic reads are not required between IR cases
Patient Volume:
Approximately 10–15 procedures during an 8-hour onsite shift
Callback varies; typically only for emergencies

Venous and arterial angiography
Venous and arterial angioplasty
Venous and arterial stenting
Thrombolytic therapy
Embolization therapy
Body/non-neuro interventional procedures
Vascular access devices/PICCs
Central lines and port placements
IVC filters and TIPS
Aspiration and drainage procedures
Percutaneous needle biopsies
Biliary and renal extractions
Abscess drainage
Thoracentesis and paracentesis
Myelography
Pain management procedures
Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram
Blood patch
Joint and epidural injections
Vertebroplasty
Arthrograms
Chest tube insertion
Uterine artery embolization
Liver Y90/TACE
Gastrostomy tube insertion
Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion
Renal fistulograms
Cryoablation
Preferred Experience:
Neuro/head stroke thrombectomy experience
Requirements
Board Certified – Required
IR residency or fellowship – Required
Active North Dakota License or IMLC – Required
ACLS & BLS – Required
General IR procedural experience – Required
Clean malpractice history – Preferred
NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) – Required
Availability confirmed at time of submission – Required
Completed procedure list with Yes/No responses – Required
