Rates: $450/hr
Night pager call $450
Orientation: $150/hr for the first 8 hours, $250/hr after that (most time orientation is 4-8 hours in length)
Please note: Holiday pay is the same as the standard pay

Position: Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist

End Date: 6 months to 1 year
Position Overview:
Facility is urgently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide coverage for 6 months to a year. The position is primarily outpatient, focusing on clinic visits and GI-related procedures such as colonoscopies and endoscopies. The clinician will be responsible for providing consultative and follow-up care in the ambulatory clinic and performing procedures 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Duties:
- Perform standard GI procedures, including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
- Provide consultative and follow-up care in the ambulatory clinic.
- Manage a patient load of 16-20 patients per day in the clinic and 8-10 procedures per day in the outpatient center.
- Call:
- Some call coverage may be required, but the primary need is for clinic and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Board Status:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Licensure:
- Active California medical license is required.
- Experience:
- Gastroenterology Fellowship is highly preferred.
- Clean malpractice history is strongly preferred.
