Facility in Alton, IL seeking GI locums coverage
Rates: $500/hr regular, night call $500/hr with $550/hr call back
Job Details:
- Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8–9 hour shifts
- 4 days/week in GI lab performing procedures
- 1 day/week in clinic
- Inpatient rounding as needed
- Call Requirements: Weeknight in-house call required during assignment weeks (~4 admissions/night)
- Shifts per Month: Approx. 14
- Privileges: Full privileges (estimated 60 days)
- Support Staff: Full-time APP in GI clinic
Clinical Responsibilities:
- GI Lab Procedures: Colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, treatment for GI bleeds
- Clinic Visits: ~20 patients/day
- GI Lab Volume: ~12–14 procedures/day
- Clinic and Inpatient Setting: Adults only (no pediatrics)
- Hospital Size: 49 beds
Requirements:
- Board Status: BC/BE in Gastroenterology
- Licensure: Active Illinois license (Required)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, CSR
Experience: Minimum 1 year
