Facility in Harrisburg, PA seeking GI locums coverage
Rates: $6000/day
This position involves inpatient consultation, GI procedures (including ERCP), and follow-ups. Candidates must be available at least 7 days per month, with the flexibility to manage both in-house day shifts and night call coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient GI hospital coverage, including rounding, consultations, procedures, and discharges.
- Perform essential GI procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, PEGs, esophageal varices management, stenting, and ERCPs.
- Take night call coverage with a 30-minute response time (from the hospital or designated lodging).
- Manage approximately 7 admissions per on-call shift.
Schedule
- Shifts: 24-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 7:30 AM)
- On-Site Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Night Call: 4:30 PM – 7:30 AM (30-minute response from hotel or local lodging)
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 14
Requirements
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Experience: Minimum 3 years
- Certifications: BLS
- Licensure:
- Open to candidates needing a Pennsylvania license
- DEA required
- Privileges: Full or Temporary Privileges available
