Clinical Scope

Average Census: 12 inpatients per day

Support Staff: RN, NP, specialty backup, 24-hour anesthesia

Procedures: Required only in emergent situations

EUS and ERCP preferred but not mandatory

Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics (18+)

Requirements

Board Certification in Gastroenterology: Required
-
License: Pennsylvania license or IMLC accepted

Certifications: BLS and ACLS required

DEA: Required

Experience: No minimum required

Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency privileges available within 1 week for clean files
