Provider Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible

• State License Required: No (candidates needing to obtain a license are accepted)

• Minimum Experience: 5 years

• Certifications Required: BLS

• DEA Required: Yes

• Additional Notes:

  • Normal urology surgeon requirements

  • Will be cross-credentialed at Hanover

  • Must work solo during on-call periods

  • Not trauma centers; small community hospitals

  • No APPs

Provider's Typical Day:

• Duties: Consults, patient rounding, surgeries

• Patient Calls: Handled through the nurse advice line as the first contact

• Rounding: No fixed time limit; if no inpatients, rounding is not required

• On Call: Yes
