Facility in Kearney, NE seeking Lucrative General Anesthesiology locums coverage

Rates: $3500/4 hour gratis, $450/hr Call-back after 4 hours

Position Overview:

Facility is seeking a Board Certified General Anesthesia Physician to provide locum tenens coverage. The physician will be responsible for handling various anesthesia cases and must be available to work weekends and selected weekdays as outlined below. This position is crucial due to a Medical Doctor Anesthesiologist (MDA) leaving the group.

Schedule & Duties:

• Preferred Weekend Schedule:

  • Friday: OR 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; 1st Call 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM

  • Saturday: OR 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (may extend based on volume); 1st Call 11:00 AM - 7:00 AM

  • Sunday: OR 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (may extend based on volume); 1st Call 11:00 AM - 7:00 AM

• Additional Required Coverage Dates:

  • October 30 – November 3 (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

  • November 25 – December 1 (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

  • December 16 – January 5 (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

• Duties: General anesthesia

• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (REQUIRED)

• NE License or IMLC Certification (REQUIRED)

• Fellowship Training in Anesthesiology (REQUIRED)

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP Certifications (REQUIRED)

• Clean Malpractice/Background Record (HIGHLY PREFERRED)

• Availability (REQUIRED)
