Facility in Las Vegas, NV seeking GI locums coverage
Rates:
Orientation – $150/hr
On Call (Daily) – $3,000 with 4 hour gratis included.
Call Back – $400/hr after 4 hours.
Position Overview
Location: Henderson, Nevada
Start Date: May 2025
Duration: 3–6 months
Schedule: First 2–3 weeks of each month (14–21 days/month)
Setting: Inpatient (Hospital + ED), optional outpatient follow-ups
Call Coverage: 24-hour call + procedures + consults
EMR: Cerner
Beds: 366 licensed beds (400+ total)
Clinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient GI consults (average 10–12/day)
- Procedures: Upper Endoscopy, Lower Endoscopy, ERCP (EUS available)
- Average 4–5 procedures/day (inpatient/outpatient mixed)
- ED coverage (60-bed department with 200–220 daily visits)
- Optional outpatient clinic time for post-procedure follow-up
- IR and Anesthesia available 24/7
Credentialing
- Estimated Timeframe: 30–60 days
- Billing Enrollment: Not in lieu of existing enrolled provider
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active NV license or IMLC
- Completed Residency and Fellowship in GI
- ACLS, BLS, DEA Certification
- Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
