$400/hr Outpatient GI locums in beautiful Maine. Will license. NO ercp required.

Facility in Rockport, ME seeking Outpatient GI locums coverage

Schedule:

• Required Start Date: June 2025 (July at the latest)

• Work Week: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break

• No Overtime unless preapproved

• Required Coverage Dates:

  • June: 16-20, 23-27, 30-July 3

  • July: 28-August 1, 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29

  • September: 2-5, 15-19, 22-26, 29-Oct 3

  • October: 6-10, 20-24

  • November: 24-26, 28

• Procedure Focus: Endo procedures in the OR, and one day per week in the clinic

• Patient Load: 14-16 patients per day in the clinic

• EMR: Epic

• Support Staff: Full staff in the OR

• No weekends, No call

• Anesthesia Support: Both CRNA and an Anesthesiologist per gastroenterologist in the procedure room

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA)

• Active Maine License (preferred, but will review other licensed candidates)

• ACLS and BLS certification required

• Procedures Required:

  • Lower GI Endoscopy

  • Sigmoidoscopy

  • Colonoscopy

  • Upper GI Endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and banding of varices

  • Therapeutic Procedures: Not required, but preferred

• COVID and Flu Vaccines: Required

• Credentialing: 90 days
