Facility in Rockport, ME seeking Outpatient GI locums coverage
Rates: $4,000/day
Schedule Availability (Must Cover at Least One Week/Month)
- August: 18–22, 25–29
- September: 2–5, 15–19, 22–26, 29–Oct 3
- October: 6–10, 20–24, 27–31
- November: 24–26, 28
- December onward through 2026: Flexible coverage
Job Details
- Patient Volume: 14–16 patients/day in clinic
- Setting: Adult outpatient clinic; some procedures in OR
- Primary Role: Endoscopic procedures (lower and upper GI)
- Support: Full OR support team including CRNA and anesthesiologist
- Clinic: One day per week anticipated
- Onsite Services: Lab, X-ray
- Procedures Required:
- Colonoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Diagnostic upper endoscopy
- Upper endoscopy with biopsy
- Upper endoscopy with foreign body removal
- Upper endoscopy with variceal banding
- Advanced Procedures: Preferred, not required. Indicate at submission.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certification: ABMS or AOA Certified in Gastroenterology – Required
- Licensure: Maine license – Highly Preferred (IMLC candidates considered)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS – Required
- Vaccinations: COVID and Flu – Required
- Institutional ADR: Requested at time of submission (≥35% for all-gender)
Commitment: Must be available one week per month minimum into 2026
