Facility near Baltimore, MD and DC seeking GI locums coverage
Rates: $5000/day all inclusive.

Opportunity Highlights
- Flexible Schedule: The need is for approximately 8 shifts per month, including weekday inpatient call and full weekend call (Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM).
- Urgent Coverage Dates Needed:
- Weekdays: 1/21, 1/22, 1/23, 1/26, 1/28, 1/29, 1/30
- Weekend: 1/30 through 2/1
- Procedural Focus: Your schedule includes scheduled elective procedures (8 AM – 5 PM), performing upper and lower scopes with a possibility of 2-4 add-ons. You will also spend 1 day a month at the outpatient center (3rd Wednesday).
- Call Details: Weekday call is 8 AM – 8 AM. You can expect an average of 5 calls after hours.
- EMR Systems: The facility uses Epic for charting and Provation for procedural documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide weekday inpatient call coverage from 8 AM – 8 AM.
- Perform scheduled elective procedures (upper and lower scopes).
- Cover full weekend call (Friday 5 PM until Monday 8 AM).
- Manage acute and emergent GI conditions during call hours.
- Work independently, providing consultation and procedural support.
Provider Requirements
- Education: MD or DO.
- Board Status: Board Certified.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
- Skills: ERCP Certification is REQUIRED.
- Licensure: An active Maryland State License or active IMLC is required for consideration. The facility will accept candidates needing to obtain a license.
- Certifications: ACLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.

- The target start date is January 21, 2026, pending privileges.
