Clinical Scope & Volume
The selected provider will manage a high-volume caseload consisting of both scheduled elective cases and acute inpatient needs.
Procedural Volume: Approximately 40 procedures per week.
Patient Load: 10–15 inpatient consults daily.
Daily Workflow: Typically dedicated to elective and urgent procedures in the morning (07:30–12:00), followed by inpatient rounding and consults in the afternoon (13:00–17:00).
Required Procedures: Proficiency in Endoscopy and Colonoscopy is mandatory.
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (Required).
Fellowship: Must have completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship; experience in lieu of fellowship will not be accepted.
Licensure: Active New York State (NY) Medical License preferred at time of submission.
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (Required).
Support: Minimal oversight of an inpatient Nurse Practitioner.
